Bryn Eithin
Bryn Eithin means gorse hill, and that is more or less where it sits, high on the edge of the Clocaenog Forest with the Berwyn mountains in front. It sleeps six.
The cottage
Beautifully restored with light, comfort and space in mind, Bryn Eithin blends contemporary interiors with the character and charm of the original farm building. Thoughtfully designed throughout, its generous layout allows families and groups to spend time together while still enjoying room to relax and unwind at their own pace.
Bryn Eithin sits alongside its smaller sister cottage, Bwthyn Clychau’r Gog, within a small private collection of converted farm buildings. While close enough to be booked together for larger gatherings, each cottage enjoys its own private garden and parking, creating a peaceful and secluded setting even when both are occupied.
The space
Inside, three bedrooms feature beautifully restored Victorian wrought-iron beds, while a spacious kitchen and dining area create the perfect place to gather over long breakfasts and relaxed evening meals. A comfortable lounge centred around a traditional log-burning stove offers a cosy space to return to after days spent exploring North Wales.
Outside, a private patio and garden with outdoor seating and a barbecue invite slower moments, whether enjoying morning coffee or taking in the sweeping views across the Berwyn range that make this setting so memorable.
“We’ve just had a lovely week staying in Bryn Eithin. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We found the bed to be extremely comfortable, which along with the quiet provided a very good night’s sleep.
We found the location perfect for peace and quiet, but also for exploring North Wales. We enjoyed being able to go for walks directly from the cottage into the countryside. We would highly recommend this property.”
